Another Week to Go
by

The Charlotte Bobcats recorded their biggest win of the season this weekend, toppling LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Cleveland.
But as the Charlotte Observer reported on December 31 after a Bobcats loss to the Toronto Raptors, it will be at least few more games before Charlotte gets their big man, center Tyson Chandler, back into action:
"Bobcats center Tyson Chandler – still on crutches – told me after the game he expects to be out at least another week with the stress reaction in his left foot. That’s in part because he’ll need a couple of practices to test the pain he’s feeling, to make sure he’s ready to play."
The last time No. 6 saw action was against the Detroit Pistons on December 22 where he had one point, two blocks, and four rebounds in just over 18 minutes of action. He could look to get back into action Saturday against the Grizzlies or the following Tuesday against Houston. Both games are in Charlotte.
NEXT UP
The Charlotte Bobcats will host Ty’s old team the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game can be watched on SportSouth.
