A Strong Week for Six

In back-to-back games this week, the Tyson Chandler fans know and love was back.

No. 6 dominated the boards in two straight nights, picking up 12 rebounds (four offensive) in a 94-87 victory over the New York Knicks on Tuesday, then 13 (three offensive) in a 101-98 defeat to the Indiana Pacers.
In the loss to Indiana, Charlotte charged back from a huge deficit and tried to tie the game as the final buzzer expired, but a three-pointer by reserve D.J. Augustin did not leave his hand in time.
Afterward, Tyson (12 points) was optimistic about his team's effort, but noted that it needed to come sooner. As he told the Associated Press:
"We're giving the other team a head start," Chandler said. "That's kind of the expected on the road. The home team is going to come out pumped up, but we can't wait to start our push until the fourth quarter. On the road, we're giving the other team that head start, coming back, but not closing great."
NEW YORK STATE OF VICTORY
Against the Knicks on Tuesday night, Tyson's 12 rebounds were a game-high, and during Charlotte's manic fourth-quarter 15-2 run, TC could be seen doing what he could on the court, and going crazy off it, whipping a towel over his head in celebration.
