Deja Vu in Game 2
by Andrew Mees
To win in the playoffs, you need lock-down defense, great rebounding and a formidable low-post presence.
In other words, you need No. 6.

Tyson was a force again on Monday night, as his five points, 11 boards (two offensive) and two blocks helped the Hornets manhandle the San Antonio Spurs, 102-84, in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals.
TC was limited to only 27 minutes due to foul trouble, but he certainly made the most of his time on the floor. He helped hold Tim Duncan to 18 points, and was the main reason that the Spurs forward was a non-factor in the second half. He also provided great help defense on San Antonio's guard tandem of Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, including a highlight-reel stuff of a Parker layup.
Throw in a customary alley-oop from Chris Paul, and it's easy to see why the Hornets were an astounding +35 with TC on the floor.
Henry Abbott had a great recap of Ty's night on his blog Truehoop, found on ESPN.com:
"The Hornets with Tyson Chandler on the floor were +35 tonight. That's 27 minutes of premium game time when the defending champions were absolutely killed. Chandler -- once considered something of a bust in Chicago -- is playing splendid basketball at both ends of the floor. Everyone in the NBA has always wondered what it is you can do to limit the effectiveness of Tony Parker's penetration. The answer, it turns out, is to have Tyson Chandler on your team. The only time Parker ever got a halfway decent look at the rim was when Chandler was benched. Also, did you notice that Chandler was a peacemaker several times when players were a little heated?"
The win puts the Hornets up 2-0 in their best of seven series with the Spurs, heading into their game three match-up in San Antonio.
