No. 6 sustained an injury in the fourth quarter of tonight's game against the San Antonio Spurs.

As reported by the Associated Press:

Hornets center Tyson Chandler had to be helped to the bench after dropping to the floor with a bruised left foot in the fourth quarter of New Orleans’ playoff game against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night.

Chandler’s leg appeared to buckle as he came out to the perimeter on the Hornets’ defensive end. He stayed down while Manu Ginobili made a driving layup and the Hornets had to call timeout after getting the ball back with 8:47 to go, leading 78-65.

Counting on you TC

Tyson,

There is no doubt that having you on the court is essential to the Hornets winning. As a lifelong resident who still has some old New Orleans Jazz memorabilia from when I used to go to those games in the Superdome as a kid, nothing makes me happier than Hornet wins!

I know I'm not your coach, but please man, stop wasting your fouls on non-shot attempts. All you've got to do is extend those God-given long arms up in the air or use them to alter shots and mission accomplished. I know that foul with Parker backing into you was bogus, but there's no need to swat at the ball if you get a steal 5% of the time versus a foul 95% of the time. It is obvious that Duncan is uncomfortable shooting around or over those long arms. And when he's on the left low post and squares up, get those arms up to stop that bank shot; that's where he loves to do it.

OK so I couldn't help myself. Comes from coaching my kids. Keep up the good work man, if you keep working hard and develop a post game, you and the team will be unstoppable.

I saw many games this year despite still recovering on the northshore from severe flooding and tree damage to my home on the northshore. You and the team have been a major inspiration. Thank you so much for that.

GO LUCK TYSON AND GO HORNETS!
