For Ty and the Hornets, there really is no place like home.

Behind the big man's four points, eight boards (three offensive) and three blocks, the Hornets pounded the San Antonio Spurs 101-79 and took the pivotal Game 5 of their Western Conference semifinal series Tuesday night in New Orleans.
Ty was also a beast on the defensive end, matching up one-on-one for most of the game with Spurs forward Tim Duncan. No. 6 did a great job preventing TD from getting any solid looks in the paint, and helped hold him to just 10 points on the night.
The Hornets once again used an outstanding third quarter performance to put the Spurs away, complete with a ferocious alley-oop by the dynamic duo of Ty and Hornets guard Chris Paul. The Hornets outscored the Spurs 28-11 in the period, and continued their dominance in the fourth quarter as they pulled away.
TC: "I'LL BE FINE"
Tyson's night was cut short when he fell to the floor in the fourth quarter, clutching his left foot. He was unable to put pressure on it, and was helped off the court to the locker room.
Breathe easy Hornets fans, the injury is just a bruise, and Tyson told the Associated Press he'll be ready to go for Game 6.
"I landed funny and kind of lost feeling and couldn't really put pressure on it,'' Chandler said. "I didn't want to hurt the team by trying to be heroic. I'll be fine. I'll definitely be fine for the next game.''
The Hornets will take a 3-2 series lead back to San Antonio for game six, looking to deliver the final knockout blow to the defending champs' hopes for a repeat.
