Looking to Rebound
by
Eric Everett
After an uncharacteristic blowout loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, Tyson and the Hornets are looking to bounce back into the W column tonight against the visiting Miami Heat.
As reported by the Times-Picayune:
This is the Hornets' only game scheduled to be nationally televised on ESPN. . . . The Heat has lost nine in a row, missing center Shaquille O'Neal for all but the first two of those. Miami has had one winning streak this season, back-to-back games Dec. 9 and 10.
A HUMBLING DEFEAT
After rolling off three straight victories, New Orleans (23-12) lost to a red-hot Lakers team at home, 109-80. Tyson played only half the contest, which got away early from the Hornets, and finished with 11 points and seven rebounds.
Coach Byron Scott said it best:
"We were very passive. We just didn't come out ready to play."
