Tyson Rocks Seattle
by Paul Kingston

Twenty-one rebounds later, Tyson's message to the Seattle Supersonics was clear: The boards are mine.

Seattle saw a whole lot of this Wednesday night (Getty Images).

Thanks to another extraordinary rebounding performance (five offensive) -- not to mention 14 points, two steals and a block -- No. 6 and the Hornets laid an old-fashioned Nawlins whooping on the pride of the Pacific Northwest, winning 123-92 on Wednesday night.

RECORD SETTER
As reported by the Associated Press, it was record-setting contest for Ty:

Chandler's 16th rebound with a little under 4 minutes left in the second quarter set a Hornets' franchise record for rebounds in a half.

He actually wound up with 17 at the end of the second quarter.

STAR ON THE RISE
According to the Washington Post, Tyson is one of the NBA's rising stars, and worthy of All-Star consideration.

This season other players also are doing some serious rebounding, passing and scoring. These new stars might not be as well-known as Shaq, LeBron or Kobe -- whom fans recognize by first name only -- but they are plenty good...

Tyson Chandler of New Orleans and Al Jefferson of the Minnesota Timberwolves are not quite in [Dwight] Howard's class, but these two big guys can rebound with anyone.
